Institutions and large facilities are no longer meeting the needs of most people with mental and physical disabilities. Small community-based residential programs offer the greatest potential for social integration, use of generic services and employment opportunities.

Group Home |
Sunshine Industries, in order to help meet the needs of persons with disabilities, has a 3,500 square-foot group home.

Assisted Living Program |
Sunshine Industries also provides assisted living services to adults with physical and mental disabilities who do not need the structure and supervision of a group home. The residents of the group home and assisted living services receive training in:
• Personal maintenance and health care
• Travel and mobility
• Homemaking and community life
• Leisure activities.
